He joins from Crossrail where he worked for the past six years as lead urban designer, producing urban realm designs for areas around Crossrail stations.
Mott MacDonald has recruited Mr Croucher to develop its streetscape design and urban design capabilities and services.
Prior to his role at Crossrail, he spent two years at design consultancy Urban Initiatives. He has also worked for Brighton & Hove, Camden and Westminster City councils. Additionally, he is a design review panellist for Urban Design London.
Mott MacDonald’s head of surface access transport Peter Crane said: “Stuart is an excellent addition to our transport planning team. He brings a significant skillset that will enhance the design element of our projects while embedding it into all aspects of transport planning.”
