The E140P platform is designed to fit on a 3,200kg Ford Ranger chassis for off-road use and has a spare payload of up to 300kg.
Key features of the new unit are not only its 14m working height but also its 6m outreach, down to the ground basket entry, choice of basket types and a 250kg payload in the basket.
It has 360 degree boom rotation, four independently operating stabilisers fully interlocked with boom operation. The controls are fully proportional (duplicated at the base).
When stowed in its roadgoing condition, the vehicle has a low overall height of 2.5m. This low centre of gravity makes it better to drive, Skyking says.
The E140P is being launched next week at the Vertikal Days cranes and access trade show at Haydock Racecourse.
