New boss for ե֭line

22 Feb 16 ե֭line, the construction industry supplier accreditation service that was privatised last year, has a new boss.

Capita, the managed services company that now owns ե֭line, has appointed John Edmunds as managing director of Capita Supplier Assessment Services. His remit includes ե֭line.

His long-serving predecessor Gareth Kings has now left the business, having overseen its transition from government ownership to the private sector last year, when Capita bought it for £35m.

John Edmunds previously worked in the gaming industry. He joins ե֭line from FutureLogic Inc in California, where he was chief sales and marketing officer and managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He oversaw the sale of FutureLogic to Japan Cash Machine Company in 2014.

Mr Edmunds said: “Since Capita’s acquisition of ե֭line in January 2015, we have made significant  investments in development and people capital and will continue to do so, to help us become a better partner for all our clients, and help the industry work more effectively every day.”
