Jon Florsheim has announced his resignation as chief executive of HomeServe UK, which offers emergency tradesman services to three million UK homes.
On his departure in August he will be replaced by Jonathan King, a director of HomeServe plc and currently chief executive of HomeServe USA.
The transition keeps the company in the hands of marketers rather than anyone with construction experience. Before joining HomeServe, Mr King worked in retail marketing as group brand manager for Boots’ No.7 cosmetics.
Mr Florsheim had previously worked in marketing for British Sky Broadcasting, and Tesco.
Mr King will be replaced in the USA by Tom Rusin, whose background is in direct marketing.
