The AP300D has a hydrostatic propel system and hydraulically-adjustable paving of 1.7m to 3.2m. With bolt-on extensions maximum width is 4.0m, while a reduction attachment narrows the paving width to 650mm.
Both the CB24B and CB34B compactors provide more engine power than older models and meet EU Stage IV emission standards. Features include an Eco-mode to provide power only as needed, minimising fuel usage and a propel system to maximise performance on grades.
These machines are among more than 70 Caterpillar products to be shown at Bauma across three different exhibit areas totalling more than 12,000 square metres of space.
Construction will bring you further details of Cat's Bauma launches, and other exhibitor news, in the days and weeks ahead.
Bauma 2013 takes place in Munich, Germany from 15-21 April.
