The new training facility, named Ground Engineering Training Solutions (GETS) in Drakelow, Staffordshire will offer training and testing in over 75 categories of plant within the ե֭ Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) to the industry and the companies’ employees.
In addition to the 75 CPCS training and testing categories, GETS will also offer NVQs to the transition from a Trained Operator Card to a Competence Card.
Bachy Soletanche director Andrew Carpenter said: “The launch of GETS is a truly unique and valuable opportunity for industry professionals to arm themselves with the skills and training required to ensure that their workforce is not only practising in a safe and quality manner, but that they are also armed with skills to work in an efficient and sustainable way.”
