CCE has taken delivery of more than 30 units, including the KX018, U25s, KX061, KX071, U55 and the new KX80-4 mini excavator.
Managing director Martyn Durran said: “We’ve spent many years as a second-hand plant dealer and originally had no aspiration to become a franchisee. But following our introduction to the key people at Kubota we soon recognised the huge potential that being associated with the brand offers.”
He added: “We’d worked with Kubota machinery for 18 months prior to the agreement, dealing in second-hand stock, and for us no other manufacturer can match them in the market.
“This contract marks a watershed moment for us. We’ve built a new depot and invested half a million pounds in stock, a commitment we wouldn’t make if we didn’t think the products were up to scratch. We’re now predicting sales of between £4.5m and £5m within the year.”
Kubota ե֭ business development manager Neil Winfield said: “The reputation Chepstow ե֭ Equipment has in the region is fantastic and we’re delighted to begin our relationship with them.”
