The lead supervisor of piling operations on its Docklands Light Railway site in Stratford was fatally injured in an incident on site. Police said that he was struck by site machinery.
Clancy said that at the request of the bereaved family, it was not releasing the victim's name publicly. A long-standing employee, he had been part of the Clancy team for more than 20 years
Clancy said that it was co-operating fully with the police and the Health & Safety Executive and that the site remains partly under the control of the HSE while it continues various checks and inspections as part of its investigation.
