The proposed six-storey scheme, rising to 11 storeys in one corner of the property, will provide rooms for 311 students. Completion is expected before September 2019 and thre facility will be marketed and run by Prime Student Living, Crosslane’s student lettings and operational management arm.
Crosslane has submitted its proposal to develop the site, currently a car park and restaurant, into 28 self-contained studio apartments and 283 en-suite rooms in cluster flats of between five and nine bedrooms each.
Day Architectural has been appointed to design the development.
