Since the launch of its specialist divisions for non-mechanical plant and for lifting, in 2010 and 2011 respectively, GAP has seen annual growth of 14% in each of the past two years and turnover is expected to top £100m for the first time in the company’s history.
Since 2011, GAP has opened 26 specialist lifting depots with a further eight locations to be added in 2014.
Human resources head Catriona Dunning said: “It has been a very exciting and busy time for recruitment at GAP over the past year as the company expands across the UK. Currently, 40% of the open vacancies are brand new positions that have been created to manage the expansion but also to enhance team structures for effective management”.
