Phil Redman is now responsible for managing Mott MacDonald’s business in the northeast of England.

Mr Redman is a chartered building services engineer with 25 years’ industry experience. Since joining Mott MacDonald in 2002 he has helped develop the consultancy’s technical advisory expertise in the buildings and infrastructure sectors. Most recently, he led the London team of Mott MacDonald’s strategic advisory business. Prior to this, he oversaw project and business development activities for the company’s Canadian infrastructure finance team.

Phil Redman said: “Having grown up in the northeast and still having strong personal ties to the area, I’m thrilled to be able to bring my knowledge back for the benefit of the region. Mott MacDonald’s commitment and connection to the north east stretches back to the construction of the Tyne Bridge and we remain focused on delivering best value and sustainable solutions for our clients. We are known for our close working relationships with local organisations and I’m looking forward to supporting our team in further developing these associations.”
