The Belgian depot in Antwerp will mainly focus on the areas around the harbour and north-western area of the country. Target projects include upcoming chemical and refinery complexes and port terminals.
A new depot in Denmark’s fifth-largest city, Esbjerg, was seen as a logical choice as Riwal already had depots in the four largest cities. The location in the far west of the country is also designed to help Riwal secure work in the offshore oil drilling sector and in the assembly of windfarms.
Riwal’s second depot in Sweden has been opened in Gothenburg, which is growing rapidly, reflected by the construction of new tunnels and bridges as well as apartments and a new hospital.
Riwal CEO Norty Turner said: “With our depot expansion in Europe, we will reach out even further to bring access solutions to both existing as well as new customers, allowing them to complete their projects safely and efficiently. By having the right people and equipment close by we can increase our response time and support our vision to deliver the best customer experience in the industry.”
