Work had to be interrupted following an appeal lodged by a group of lawyers and difficulties relating to raising the private finance earmarked for this operation.
Bouygues Õ¥Ö¼§ said that it was delighted that works are resuming on the project which will provide 9.5 million man-hours of employment.
The Arélia consortium, which is responsible for building the new complex, was informed today (3 April) that the Administrative Court of Appeal had rejected an injunction lodged against the contractual arrangements adopted. The request had previously been dismissed by the lower Administrative Tribunal.
The governing body of the Paris Law Courts has agreed that Arélia can now resume work on site with immediate effect, which will allow the future complex to be brought into service in 2017.
