Scape is owned and controlled by six English local authorities but its national frameworks are available for use by other local authorities, educational establishments, 'blue light' organisations and other publicly funded bodies. Wilmott Dixon is the current national contractor.
Principal areas of the work will include construction works for new build, refurbishment and maintenance. The contract spans all types of tasks, such as roads, fencing, plumbing and demolition as well as design services.
Six candidates are expected to be invited to submit bids, which will be assessed 50% on price and 50% on quality.
