The three-storey, 65,336 sq ft Innovation Centre 5 (IC5) building is the latest in a series of facilities at the Science & Innovation Park, providing office and workshop space for medical, technology and engineering enterprises.
Seddon will build the shell and core of the IC5 building, along with three separate wings and associated external hard and soft landscaping.
Work has already begun on the development and is expected to be completed by April 2016.
Seddon secured the project through a four-year, £40 million construction framework for Staffordshire County Council. This framework has seen Seddon build four schools for the council since 2012, with the company also recently appointed to deliver the £5.5m Veritas Academy primary school in Stafford.
