The B2 residential tower at the Atlantic Yards Project in Brooklyn, New York, will be 32 storeys high and measure about 98m.
The client is Forest City Ratner Companies (FCRC).
As part of the contract, Skanska will subcontract approximately US$56m to a company created together with FCRC, called FC+Skanska Modular. The new company will fabricate the modular components of the building in a 14,000m2 factory located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Construction is estimated to begin in December 2012 and is expected to be completed in 2014.
