She joins from Skanska AB in Sweden where most recently she headed up Green Business for the group. Before that she was president of Skanska Fastigheter (Real Estate) in Gothenburg.
In her new role, reporting to Skanska UK president and CEO Mike Putnam, Cecilia Fasth will have responsibility for the development of Bundled Õ¥Ö¼§, a term Skanska uses to describe its way of delivering projects by adding finance and development components to design build projects. In addition, following a transition period during the first quarter of 2011, Cecilia will have EMT responsibility for Skanska UK’s Green Business function.
In another move, executive vice president Roger Bayliss has taken over responsibility for the finance function across UK operations. Roger was appointed to Skanska UK’s executive management team two years ago with responsibility for business improvement. He joined Skanska in 2007 as project director, leading the team delivering the capital works element of the Barts and The London new hospitals redevelopment. Before joining Skanska, Roger was BAA’s construction director, leading construction activities across seven UK airports excluding the T5 project.
