One of the main changes is a slimmer design that allows for use close to walls, posts or in narrow trenches.
“The new design and lower weight improves handling whilst keeping compaction efficiency high,” said Atlas Copco business line manager John Fitzpatrick.
“The new vibration absorbing handle keeps hand/arm vibration low,” he added.
The new steering bow comes with rollers and there’s a single lifting point for easier handling. To prevent unnecessary wear to the shock absorbers an integral lock is activated during lifting and transport.
There is a new design for the air filter, which can be changed without using any tools. As an option it can also be fitted with an indicator showing when it needs changing. An hour meter is also now available as an option, to help keep track of service intervals.
They are powered by Honda engines.
