London Designer Outlet, designed by Leslie Jones Architects, is the major retail and leisure element of the Wembley City Scheme by the new national stadium in north London.
The development will have 350,000 sq ft (30,516 sq m) of retail and leisure floorspace, with 85 retail units,15 restaurants and bars, and a nine-screen Cineworld cinema complex seating 1,800 people over three levels.
Projected opening date is late 2013.
Meanwhile, at Greenwich Pensinsular in southeast London, Quintain reports progress on the first two residential plots at Peninsula Quays. Enabling works are planned to start soon, which will include the rebuilding of the river wall as well as further infrastructure and ground works.
