The successful bidder for the £4.8m contract will work with TfL to coordinate activity across 32 London boroughs, plus additional delivery partners such as the Royal Parks and Canal & River Trust.
Where boroughs and delivery partners do not have in-house design and engineering capability, the supplier will be able to provide this service. It will also undertake detailed feasibility, detailed design and other necessary preparation work, and will oversee construction of the routes.
The first full 'quick win' route has to be delivered by the end of the this year, using a prepared route delivery plan.
