The consortia that will now submit bids to Peru’s investment agency ProInversion are:
- Consorcio Nuevo Metro de Lima, made up of Cosapi, Impregilo, Iridium, Vialia and Ansaldo;
- Consorcio Metro Subterráneo de Lima, formed from Astaldi and Controladora de Operaciones de Infraestructura;
- Consorcio Metro de Lima Linea 2, made up of Odebrecht, Graña y Montero, Construtora Andrade Gutierrez and Construtora Queiroz Galvao.
Technical and financial bids are due in by 21 February and will be opened at the end of the month.
The scheme involves a 27km east-west metro line with 27 stations and an 8km airport branch with a further eight stations.
