The RT30 can dig a trench up to 200mm wide and 1070mm deep.
Target markets include installing utilities on housebuilding sites where its compact footprint and tight turning radius offer benefits. It is just over 3.5m long and 1.2m wide.
Powered by a 17.9kW (24.8hp) Kubota diesel engine, it has four-wheel drive.
Backfill blade is 1219mm (48 inches) wide.
“Owners will enjoy the benefits of low maintenance and reliable performance, and operators will enjoy the RT30’s comfortable operator’s station, easy-to-use trencher controls that require minimal training, and simple foot pedals that control forward and reverse,” Ditch Witch said.
