The contract win comes just days after Leighton Asia secured a design and build contract valued at AU$370 million (£228m) for a new hospital in Tin Shui Wai.
The Hung Hom Station and stabling sidings contract 1112 is the seventh contract in the past three years to be awarded to Leighton Asia by the MTR Corporation.
The SCL will connect several existing railway lines to form two strategic railway corridors. The scope of work for Contract 1112 includes significant modification works to an existing MTR station, platforms, a tunnel box and approach tunnels.
Construction work is scheduled to begin immediately, with an expected completion date in 2018.
