The Hinowa TX2500 Traxporter was shown in prototype form at the Bauma trade fair in Munich last year. The full production model makes its UK debut at the Edinburgh ScotPlant show on 25-26 April.
The TX2500 has a swivel skip that can be operated even while the vehicle is moving. Slewing the skip enables tipping from either side or the rear. It also has a 180° rotating seat and controls, so the operator can always face in the direction of travel.
The dumper can carry 2,500kg and is rated for 1.49m³ volume. The controls are just two levers for steering and an accelerator pedal, as well as a one-touch parking brake.
Designed for difficult ground conditions, the TX2500 has a top speed of 12km/h (7.5mph) and a Kubota V2203-EU1 4-cylinder 35.9kW (48.8hp) diesel engine. The rubber tracks have two fixed and four floating rollers.
Hinowa construction, lifting and materials handling products are sold in the UK through its exclusive dealer Access Platform Sales (APS), which will also be showing at ScotPlant the Hinowa HS1100 mini-dumper and the Hinowa 17.75 and 20.10 tracked boom lifts.
APS will also exhibit machines from other brands it represents, including: a Youngman BoSS X3 low-level access platform; Niftylift 120T trailer-mounted boom lift; Nifty HR12NDE hybrid boom lift; Genie GS2632 electric slab scissor lift; and the Isoli PNT230 vehicle-mounted boom lift.
