The new accommodation will have a range of 1,462 single rooms and one-bedroom apartments across nine blocks.
Construction started on site in May 2017, with 478 rooms expected to be available for the 2018 student intake and the remaining 984 available a year later in September 2019.
The contract is the major part of a £155m development on the Hull campus, which will include landscaping and student facilities including a café, a convenience store and laundry facilities.
UPP specialises in providing student halls and has 32,000 rooms under management or in construction through partnerships with 15 UK universities.
This will be the fifth student accommodation contract that Vinci Õ¥Ö¼§ UK has carried out for UPP.
