The blast took place at Bremanger Quarry, in Svelgen on the west coast of Norway.
It was also the largest blast that BAM Ritchies has ever fired.
Some 68 tonnes of explosives in 454 holes along a 385-metre length of rockface brought down a 20-metre high bench to produce 360,205 tonnes of rock on the ground.
