The design-build contract involves the provision of two new additional 48km-long toll lanes. This project will be implemented by a consortium that is led by Archer Western Contractors and includes Hubbard Õ¥Ö¼§, a subsidiary of Vinci’s Eurovia.
Construction of the new reversible express lanes system includes 39 bridges along the I-75 and I-575. The lanes are to be built with minimal interruption to traffic. The project’s lanes will be partly built on reinforced soil walls supplied by Reinforced Earth - part of Vinci Õ¥Ö¼§ subsidiary Freyssinet - to limit infrastructure ground coverage.
The new lanes are scheduled to come into service in 2018.
