The new TH408 and TH522 telehandlers join the TH412 and TH625 that were launched last year.
With a lift height of 4.1 metres with a maximum payload of 800 kilograms and compact dimensions (1.4m-wide, 1.9m-high with cab), the new Wacker Neuson TH408 mini-telehandler is said to be the smallest model on the market. With an inside turning radius of 595mm, target applications are any confined spaces. With an operating weight of 2,270kg, it can be transported by trailer.
The TH522 has a maximum lifting height of 5.5m and up to 2,200kg payload. It is powerful enough for moving paving stone pallets and is described by the manufacturer as “a true all-rounder”.
All-wheel steering and one-piece frame guarantee a high degree of stability on any ground, Wacker Neuson says. All telehandlers can be configured with various performance options and add-on equipment for varied areas of application.
Wacker Neuson telehandlers have the Vertical Lift System (vls) overload protection system, which prevents forward or backward tipping. Where other systems interrupt the working cycle by switching off the hydraulic function, vls allows for safe and smooth sequences of operations even under high payloads through a partial automation of the telescopic movement, the manufacturer says.
