Nigel Keen has strong industry experience, being responsible for the property strategy and portfolio across both John Lewis and Waitrose, including stores, supermarkets, distribution centres and manufacturing sites.
He has been with Waitrose since 1999 and before that was Tesco’s construction director for six years.
Nigel Keen started his career as a professional footballer, signing a four-year contract with Manchester United at the age of 16 in 1977 and ending his professional career in the UK playing for Preston North End in 1985 after 24 first-team appearances. He began his career as a quantity surveyor with John Evers & Partners.
