Wates Õ¥Ö¼§ will deliver new facilities for four schools in Coventry. St Thomas More Catholic Primary and Wyken Croft Primary are getting new school buildings, with completion scheduled for autumn next year. Ernesford Grange Secondary and Alice Stevens Special School are being brought together into a single facility. This £19m project will create a new 12,000 sq m building for students aged 11 to 19 years.
Wates was announced as the main contractor for the Midlands 1 capital batch of the Priority School Building Programme back in January.
Also included in the programme is a new £5m building for Whitmore Park Primary School, where construction began in May. The final school in this Midlands 1 batch is Richard Lee Primary School where work on the new facility is expected to begin in early 2014.
