The contract was awarded after the service provided by the customer’s previous provider came to an end and will see Willmott Dixon deliver services for 11 months with the possibility of a six-month extension. The company is already active in West London, providing repairs and maintenance to homes owned by the neighbouring London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
Willmott Dixon Partnerships managing director Mick Williamson said: “We are delighted to be given the opportunity to show the Kensington & Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation our unique approach outlined in the ‘Transformational Change’ paper we published last year. This focuses on how an outsourced company can deliver a real step change in service as well as creating major legacy benefits through skills training, apprenticeship investment and community engagement.”
