Trading profit for the quarter was 拢159m, compared with 拢114m last year.
Group revenue and gross profit were both up 2%, to 拢3.471bn and 拢93m respectively.
UK sales in the quarter fell 4% from last year鈥檚 拢658m to 拢633m, although this was largely due to the disposal of Brandon Hire. On continuing operations, UK revenue was up 5%. Trading profit form the UK was up from 拢23m to 拢30m.
