Hydraulic Torque Wrenches

Lithium Series II Torque Tool

Lion Gun Torque Tool

Low HAVS Tooling Solutions

HYTORC Torque Tools lead the industry in vibration safety. Operators still using impact wrenches on bolting projects worry that those tools place the workforce at high risk of Hand-Arm Vibration (HAV) injury. Users in the industry are discovering the hassles of administratively controlling, monitoring, and limiting vibration exposure to impact wrenches.

HYTORC’s Electric and Pneumatic Torque Tools have been independently verified and tested confirming that they are ULTRA LOW VIBRATION in actual operational use.

The vibration levels of a typical impact wrench are measured at approximately 19.0m/s2, allowing a maximum usage time of 30 mins trigger time per day. HYTORC’s handheld tools have been measured at <1.0 m/s2; allowing for unlimited trigger time per day with nil to negligible risk of HAVS to an operator.

Total Hand Safety Commitment

The HYTORC Washer system eliminates bolting pinch points as a reaction arm or fixture is no longer required to be used on a torque wrench. This technology ensures a much safer work environment while drastically reducing the potential financial loss because of incidents or injuries.

Fasteners

Consistent with the standard HYTORC Reaction Washer, the new HYTORC J-Washer continues to eliminate the need for a separate reaction arm, eliminating pinch points and significantly reducing the risk of hand injury.

Extreme loads and vibration require every bolted joint to be tightened with even and accurate bolt load to eliminate the possibility of nut loosening, which can lead to damaged equipment and/or injuries.

The J-Washer takes the HYTORC Reaction Washer to an entirely new level by adding a locking feature that minimizes loosening to keep bolts tight under dynamic loads.

Standard pre-loaded fasteners can loosen as a result of relative motion between surfaces due to vibration. The J-Washer’s knurled surface locks the nut when torque is applied so that no loosening occurs. The locking design has been verified by the industry standard Junker test, which simulates the transverse forces that loosen the assembly.

The J-Washer's unique design locks the fastener assembly during tightening. When used in combination with a HYTORC Torque Tool, the J-Washer provides unmatched efficiency in bolting operations and reduced job time.
